The SNC-CX600 is a compact ‘all in one’ security camera that includes passive sensor, LED illuminator, speaker/microphone and edge recording functions in an affordable integrated package. It’s ideal for safeguarding offices, restaurants, hotels and other small business premises.

Offering crisp, clear HD 720p picture quality, the SNC-CX600 includes many of the core imaging technologies featured in Sony’s latest generation of video security camera range. Powered by the acclaimed IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing platform, you’ll enjoy excellent imaging quality plus intelligent analytics.

The discreet, smartly styled fixed camera surveys the scene with a wide (120°) horizontal viewing angle. A passive infrared (PIR) sensor can detect a subject with a higher temperature than the room temperature in the camera’s field of view in total darkness, illuminating surroundings automatically with a white LED or when activated by the user. The PIR sensor can also trigger other actions, like recording on optional memory card, giving voice alerts via the built-in speaker or sending an email notification.

Integration with standard wired Ethernet networks is simple: for extra flexibility, the camera is powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet). HD video can be streamed over IP networks and also saved to the camera’s on-board micro SD memory card for later review.

The fixed camera’s fixed lens covers entrances, doorways, public areas and store rooms with a wide (120°) horizontal angle of view. The high resolution Exmor CMOS sensor assures crisp HD (1280 x 720) video images.

Excellent imaging performance is assured by the inclusion of core technologies featured in the latest generation of video security camera range. Powered by the IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing platform, XDNR (Excellent Dynamic Noise Reduction) and Visibility Enhancer ensure clearer low-light images; DEPA Advanced analytics can trigger alarms based on user-determined rules.
Always ready for action, even in the dark

The passive infrared (PIR) sensor can detect a subject with a higher temperature than the room temperature in the camera’s field of view in total darkness, switching on white-light LED illuminators that capture clear colour images up to a distance of 3m from the camera. The sensor can also activate a range of other functions, such as triggering a voice alert, starting recording or sending an email notification.

The in-built image stabiliser helps reduce the effects of camera shake for crisper, clearer images with reduced blur.
Easy IP network connectivity

The camera connects with standard wired Ethernet networks. For simply and tidy installation, the camera is powered via PoE (IEEE802.3af), eliminating the need for additional power cables.
Automatic Recording

Video images can be recorded directly to an optional micro SD card (not included) for later analysis. Edge recording can be started manually, automatically via an alert triggered by the passive infrared (PIR) sensor, in response to temporary network disconnection or tampering, by integrated analytics. Search, playback and export from the SD card is available directly via the web browser interface when using Internet Explorer®.
Hear and be heard

The camera’s built-in microphone and loudspeaker enable two-way audio communication – ideal for use as an intercom. In addition, the passive infrared sensor can trigger playback of a pre-recorded Voice Alert message through the speaker when motion is detected.

ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) compliance

Support for ONVIF Profile-S simplifies integration with a wide range of VMS platforms and hardware, providing video streaming and camera control. ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) defines a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices, including automatic device discovery and video streaming.
